In 1999, Villanova College first opened its doors to twenty-six students as York Region’s only independent Catholic school. With the blessing of the Archdiocese of Toronto, Villanova College was the first fully-independent Catholic school established in the province of Ontario since 1965. Since that time we have been recognized for our commitment to academic excellence, personal attention to each child, a strong sense of community, our service to others and preparing our students for lifelong success.
We are extremely proud of the legacy we have built in our short history and are blessed to be part of the Augustinian Catholic intellectual tradition and community of schools whose history dates back to 1842 in North America. Our affiliation to the other seven Augustinian high schools in the United States and Villanova University makes us a part of a much broader and richer educational community that benefits every aspect of your child’s experience at Villanova College.
At Villanova, we are committed to your child and I encourage you to explore our website to learn more about our campus, our programs and opportunities that will prepare your child for lifelong success.
